We take considerable pride in the quality of the books we supply. We endeavour to describe each one accurately on the following scale:
New – Like it says!
Like New – An excellent copy, unmarked but may have been read once so spine may show some slight creasing. Dust cover - where originally supplied - will be undamaged.
Very Good – Clean and unmarked, but pre read and dust cover – where originally supplied – may have minor marks or small tears.
Good - A good, readable copy. A clean cover with all pages intact. May show light tanning and foxing. May occasionally have notes in margin. Probably no dust cover.
Acceptable – May show marks,stains or minor tears on cover. All pages intact but possibly marked or dirty.
Note that 99% of the books we offer will be in 'Good' or better condition.

Post & Packing charges
In keeping with most major on-line booksellers we have a fixed post & packing charge for all books dispatched to UK addresses. This is perhaps the most misunderstood and contentious issue regarding postal orders since customers tend to relate the charge to the value of the postage stamps on the envelope. The truth is that books are heavy and postal charges can be expensive so a fixed charge actually protects you!
In fact, our charge covers postage, packing, credit card charges etc., And unlike many other sellers, we really do pack our books well.
Currently our fully inclusive charge is £2-75 per book
